Power Chord Fridays: Sylvia Downer Edition

I’m feeling sleep deprived and in a bit of a daze. This song has been in head all day and I could listen to it on repeat for an hour. Lost soul and by all accounts walking open wound, Peter Laughner is a pretty obscure figure that has been credited with bringing on the alternative rock scene in Cleveland back in the 70s. One listen to this track titled, Sylvia Plath offers a window into what could have been a very important body of work had he not died so young. Sorry, not very Friday I know, but sometimes you just need a taste of Monday morning to make you appreciate Friday night. So go forth and try to avoid doing something as senselessly cruel as Sylvia Plath.
